Talents-projektissani sain tällä kertaa kuvattavakseni kilpatanssia muutamia vuosia harrastaneen Outi-Marian. Kuvaukset hoituivat jo varsin tutuksi tulleessa Lielahden kartanon studiossa.

Käytin kuvauksissa tällä kertaa sekä valkoista että harmaata taustaa ja vaihtelin taustojen värimaailmaa jälkikäsittelyssä, jottei kaikki kuvat olisivat olleet liian samanlaisia. Muutamissa kuvissa käytin tehosteena myös värikalvolla varustetua salamaa, jotta mukaan saatiin vähän lisäväriä.

Valaistus hoitui pääosin kahden Godox AD200:n toimesta. Osassa kuvista niiden edessä oli sateenvarjot ja osassa stripboxit. Lisäväri tuli Godox TT685o:n ja MagModin värikalvojen toimesta. Kamerana tuttuun tapaan oli Olympus E-M5III ja objektiivina M.Zuiko 12-100mm f/4 PRO – eli kombinaatio, jolla nykyään kuvaan 95% studiokuvauksistani.

Another set from my Talents project. The model of this shoot, Outi-Maria, has been participating in competitive dance contests for a few years now and it was the first time that I photographed someone doing Latin dance.

I opted to use only two different backdrops (white & gray) but decided to add some variation to the photos by changing the background color tones in post-processing. I also used MagMod color gels in some of the photos to add more color.

As usual, I used two Godox AD200s to manage the lighting. They had either shoot-through umbrellas or stipboxes in front of them – depending on what was the look I was after. And I also used a Godox TT685o with MagMod gels to add more color in some of the shots.

Olympus E-M5III and M.Zuiko 12-100mm f/4 PRO was once again the camera & lens combination that I used – just like in the other 95% of my studio shoots nowadays. If the formula works why change it? 🙂
