Osallistuin toista kertaa Budapest International Foto Awardsiin. Vuosi sitten sain kolmella kuvalla/kuvasarjalla yhden hopeamitalin ja kaksi pronssista ei-ammattilaisten sarjassa. Tänä vuonna laitettiin vielä paremmaksi. 🙂
Kaksi muuta kilpailua, johon tänä vuonna osallistuin, toivat nekin ihan kelpo saavutukset (IPA & FPA), mutta BIFA 2024 veti maton jalkojen alta, sillä ei-ammattilaisten ”Nature / Pets” -kategoriasta tuloksena oli sekä kultaa että hopeaa!
Kultamitalin sain Playful Puppies -kuvasarjallani ja hopeaa lähes yhtä mielikuvituksellisesti nimeämälläni Dog Portraits -sarjalla. Näiden lisäksi lähetin samaiseen kategoriaan myös Family-nimisen komposiittikuvan, joka sekin palkittiin kunniamaininnalla.
Kunniamaininta tuli myös kahdella muulla lähettämälläni kuvalla/kuvasarjalla. Kaikki kilpailuun lähettämäni kuvat näkyvät sivun alareunan galleriassa.
It was my second time participating in Budapest International Foto Awards photography contest. Last year I was awarded with one silver and two bronze medals but this time I managed to top that. 🙂
The other two contests I took part in were somewhat successful (IPA & FPA) but they can’t compare to what happened in BIFA 2024 as it turned out my photos or photo series brought me both gold AND silver medals in ”Nature / Pets” category!
The gold medal was awarded for my Playful Puppies series and the silver for Dog Portraits (a photo series as well). In addition to those two I sent a composite photo called Family to the same category and it received an honorable mention.
I also sent two other photos or photo series and they both got an honorable mention too. So every photo I sent got at least some kind of recognition. All my contest photos are visible in the gallery below.
